Tableau’s biggest strength is its community; a willingness to share best practice, provide support and continuously improve. This approach is equally important to adopt within our own organisations. Our Centre of Excellence is all about people; supporting analysts to develop effective, agile analysis whilst supporting users to engage with data to enable effective decision making.
In this session you will learn numerous techniques that we use within our Centre of Excellence; these include visualisation best practice (shared via real dashboards), cultural approaches (promoting positive performance and engaging with your users), creation of Tableau Champions and encouraging analysts to ‘play’.
The main theme of our Centre of Excellence is maximising the potential of our staff by keeping them informed and creating a sense of intrigue through the use of personalised data, but more importantly, always keeping Tableau simple; making it intuitive and, as such, easy for people to use.
Cleveland Clinic is one of the largest and most respected hospital systems in the country, renowned for its thought leadership and innovation in healthcare delivery. An enterprise implementation of Tableau puts the power of analysis into the hands of multiple audiences, allowing leaders to more quickly visualize and understand their data and be increasingly flexible in their analyses. As a result, time-to-value decreases over legacy BI platforms.
This presentation will explore the five strategic pillars of Cleveland Clinic’s healthcare strategy: Patients First, Caregivers, Affordability of Care, Growth and Impact, and how healthcare analytics help support the key objectives and enable execution across the enterprise with key performance indicators (KPIs). Explore use cases in Emergency Services’ partnership with BI, the strategic initiative of Care Paths, discharge procedures using EPIC tools to reduce readmissions as well as Physician and balanced Executive Scorecards.
