Dan Miller

EVP of Worldwide Sales, Services, and Support

Dan is an industry veteran with 30 years of experience. Most recently, he led the global go-to-market strategy, sales and operations for Oracle’s ISV/OEM and Java businesses. Previously, he led Juniper’s Enterprise business and spent nearly 20 years at Sun Microsystems where he held a variety of senior sales management positions.

As SVP, Global Systems and Storage for Sun, Dan led the server and storage field sales and engineering unit. Dan also brings to Tableau a global leadership background, including a three-year period as President and Chairman of Sun Microsystems K.K., Sun Microsystem’s subsidiary in Japan. He holds a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Colorado.

Adam Selipsky

Former President & CEO, Tableau

Adam Selipsky is the former President and CEO at Tableau. Selipsky spent over a decade building Amazon Web Services, one of the most successful technology platforms in the world. His leadership helped grow AWS from a start-up into a multi-billion dollar business and establish it as the undisputed market leader in cloud computing. Selipsky served as Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Support for AWS. Prior to joining Amazon, he was an executive at RealNetworks, leading the video subscription and media player division. Before that, he was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting, a strategy consulting firm. He holds an A.B. in government and an MBA from Harvard University.

Ellie Fields

Sr. Director of Product Development, Tableau

Ellie Fields leads product development teams at Tableau responsible for building analytics that reach more people. Responsible for product strategy and execution for mobile apps, collaboration, alerting, server experience, onboarding and Tableau Public. She's also a regular speaker on Tableau's approach to business intelligence. Prior to Tableau, Ellie worked at Microsoft and in late-stage venture capital. She has an engineering degree from Rice University and an M.B.A. from The Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Chris Bates

Global Vice President, Customer Success at Tableau

Chris Bates leads the global Customer Success organization at Tableau Software. Chris’ team is responsible for ensuring that Tableau’s 80,000+ customers are successfully onboarding, adopting, and renewing with Tableau. Chris has over 20 years of experience leading customer-facing organizations in high-growth technology companies. Prior to joining Tableau, Chris led Sales organizations at Dell, including living in London for 2 ½ years. For the last 8 years, Chris has led global Customer Success teams at both Salesforce.com and Clarizen. Chris started his career at Procter & Gamble, where he first developed his passion around customers. He received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Marketing at the University of Virginia, and his MBA from Harvard Business School. Chris lives in San Francisco with his wife and 7-year-old son.
