Tableau Software, a global leader in rapid-fire business analytics software, today announced that it will open an office in Washington, D.C. The company will host a recruiting happy hour on January 26, 2015 to meet with the community and candidates to discuss open and future positions.
The Tableau happy hour will take place at the W Hotel Washington, D.C., from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26. Interested candidates can register for the event at tableaudchappyhour.eventbrite.com.

Tableau was founded out of the Stanford computer science department in 2003 and moved its headquarters to Seattle, Wash, shortly thereafter. It now has more than 1,700 employees worldwide and additional offices in Kirkland, WA; Palo Alto, CA; Austin, TX; London; Dublin; Frankfurt; Singapore; Tokyo; and Sydney, Australia.
The company’s Washington, D.C. location is its 12th office worldwide. Located at 1801 K Street Northwest, the office will primarily host Tableau’s Mid-Atlantic-based sales and operations teams. The office is expected to open in April, 2015.
