Can you make data useful and beautiful? If so, then we hope you'll join us for some friendly competition. Throw down, data-style, in front of our expert judges and prove that you are the best data visualization - "Viz" - competitor the Midwest has to offer.

AE will be hosting the inaugural Midwest Viz Wars as the official kick-off to its Business Intelligence and Predictive Analytics Symposium, held at the Harley Davidson Museum on April 10th. Attendance is limited—so register quickly. If you're interested in competing, please contact Sarah Nell

Viz Wars is an open competition to celebrate the best data visualizers in the Upper Midwest . Competitors will be provided with several data set options and given have one hour to build their best viz.

Celebrity judges - Dan Murray, Nick Peterson, and Pat McCormick - will choose the best among you! Not only will you be vying for the chance to be awarded the title of “Reigning Midwest Viz Wars Champion” but there will be plenty of awe-inspiring prizes awarded as well! Stay tuned as we’ll be announcing these over the next few days.
