Audience: This course is designed for the intermediate Tableau user.
About the Course: You may never need to create a chart or dashboard, but if you are going to survive, let alone thrive, in a world drowning in data, you’ll need to use charts and dashboards because the good ones are going to help you make better decisions, faster.
But how can you tell a good chart from a bad one? Or one that is not particularly helpful vs. one that is in fact deceitful?
In this session, Steve Wexler will help you become a savvy consumer of charts and dashboards and will show you why you shouldn’t tolerate any graphic or presentation in your organization that isn’t clear, concise, and helpful.
Duration: One hour of live virtual training, consisting of lecture, demonstrations, and a question & answer session.
Prerequisites: Completion of both Desktop I: Fundamentals and Desktop II: Intermediate courses, or equivalent experience with the Tableau Desktop product.
Course Includes: This course includes a digital student resources folder containing the presentation to use as reference material after the session.
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Recognize and remedy unhelpful, misleading, and deceitful charts and dashboards
