Tableau Software, the global leader in rapid-fire business intelligence software, has named London based data visualisation firm The Information Lab as the first Tableau GOLD Partner in Europe, within Tableau’s worldwide partner program. This appointment was presented in front of an Audience of over 2000 Partners and Customers at the recent Tableau Customer Conference in San Diego. The Information Lab have introduced Tableau to more than 50 companies in the UK and Europe since their foundation two years ago and have provided training and consulting services to many more.
The Information Lab's mission mirrors that of Tableau; to help people see and understand data by making customers self-reliant with Tableau software. The Information Lab helps empower business users to work with their own data and improve the quality of their own decision making without the need for long consulting engagements. By providing consulting services which include server implementation, license advice & sales, report & dashboard development as well as extensive training courses, The Information Lab has become a one-stop shop for all things Tableau.
Tom Brown, the founder of The Information Lab, said - "it's fantastic to be recognised for our commitment to Tableau and our deep understanding of their offering. Receiving this award is down to two things, firstly we have a great team - every team member is an expert Tableau user who strives to learn more every day, and secondly we have an unerring focus on working with Tableau software. Tableau made our work fun again."
"Our partnership with Tableau has been a genuine two way street, and the ever expanding team in the UK have been instrumental in encouraging us to reach this achievement."
