Data nerds everywhere were delighted this year at Google I/0 when the company placed hundreds of sensors around the conference space to track everything from noise volume to air quality. That many sensors constantly reporting in over multiple days added up to just one thing: boat loads of data.

Fortunately Google was ready with the raw processing power of their big data web service solution, Google BigQuery. The last step was to show the results, that was where Tableau took center stage show casing the brand new Google BigQuery connector which allowed for results to be seen in real time. Check out the above video to learn more about the project and how Tableau got be the interactive front end to such an awesome data experiment.
