About the speakers


Dr. Anushka Anand


Up until March 2017, Anushka was on the Research team working on visualisation recommendation--applying machine-learning methods to guide data analysis. She is now a senior product manager helping Tableau build its next generation of products. She has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and is actively involved in women-in-technology initiatives through her work with the Anita Borg Institute.


James Parker


James started his career in database- and direct-marketing working for agencies such as WWAV Rapp Collins, Publicis, and Wunderman. James leads the team and the strategy at Jellyfish to turn digital data into meaningful insight to power their clients’ strategies.


Karol Ussher

Head of Technology Partnerships Google EMEA

Karol's role involves building out the EMEA ecosystem of technology partners for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

In this capacity he works with leading ISVs to guide them to develop solutions to best leverage GCP and works with them to build Go-To-Market strategies to grow mutual market share.

Karol has a BSc. (Hons) Computer Science from University College Dublin and a Masters degree in Hi-Tech Entrepreneurship from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, where he also picked up Swedish. His passions outside of Google include running, football and travelling.
