Tableau Opens Offices in New York City and Beijing, Signs Additional Leases in Seattle and Kirkland

Tableau Software, a global leader in rapid-fire business analytics software, today announced that it has opened offices in New York City and Beijing and signed additional leases in Seattle and Kirkland. Tableau now has offices in 16 cities in 10 countries around the world.

“The addition of offices in New York City and Beijing will help us to better serve our customers throughout the U.S. and China,” said Jay Peir, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Tableau. “We look forward to growing our workforce in these vibrant markets while continuing to expand our headquarters in the Seattle area.”

Tableau recently signed a lease for 110,000 square feet of office space in a new building which is being constructed directly across the street from its current headquarters on the north side of N. 34th St. in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. This is in addition to the NorthEdge building in Fremont, located between N. 34th Street and N. Northlake Avenue. The company announced that lease in July of 2015.

The new Kirkland lease is part of the new Kirkland Urban redevelopment. Tableau has signed a lease for three floors and 92,000 square feet within the “Urban North” part of the redevelopment.

Tableau now has more than 2,800 employees worldwide and offices in Seattle, WA; Kirkland, WA; Palo Alto, CA; Austin, TX; Washington, DC; Vancouver, BC; London, United Kingdom; Dublin, Ireland; Paris, France; Frankfurt, Germany; Singapore; Tokyo, Japan; Shanghai, China; Sydney, Australia and now New York, NY and Beijing, China.

The New York City office is located at 130 Fifth Ave., 7th Floor. Tableau’s Beijing office is located at 79 Jianguo Rd., 9/F Tower 2, China Central Place in the Chaoyang District.
