When connected to Amazon Redshift, cancelling a long running query such as automatic updates resulted in the "ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block; Error while executing the query" error.


Attempting to edit a long custom SQL statement in caused Tableau to stop responding.


Connecting to a WMS server with an https URL returned the error: "The URL is not valid".


Using the COUNTD function in a calculated field caused other values in the extract to show incorrect values.


When the default Windows display size was changed from "Smaller" to "Medium" or "Larger" you could not select size 12, 22 or 72 font for a text object on a dashboard.

When connected to a published extract, viewing the underlying data of a measure caused the error: "Internet communication error: Send failed since rewinding of the data stream failed()".


Holding down the Shift key to select multiple values from a multiple-value (custom list) quick filter did not select multiple values and resulted in the error: "An unexpected error occurred. If you continue to receive this error please contact your Tableau Server Administrator. Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'id' of null".


Adding a worker after Kerberos has been enabled failed with the error “Worker initialization failed. See tabadmin.log for more details.”

As a workaround, disable Kerberos in Tableau Server, add the worker, start Server to verify it starts as expected, stop Server, re-enable Kerberos, and start Server.


On Tableau Server, you could not select very small sections of a pie chart by clicking on the labels.


In a distributed environment, a customized small logo was displayed in default size on worker nodes.
