Monthly Victory Lakes Urgent Care Update
UTMB Health opened it’s first after hours urgent care clinic covering adult aged patients in April 2013. Because of ongoing interest in business development for this service, Tableau was employed to provide insights into patient demographics and utilization patterns. Since that time Tableau’s features have allowed the scope of data visualizations in a monthly update report to innovate and evolve. Interest in the report has also evolved. The report is now being reviewed by people spanning clinical leadership, physician faculty leadership, business and finance, and marketing and communications.

Human Resources:
Using Tableau as our main data exploration, visualization and data sharing tool, HR Business Intelligence Team is able to engage with executive management on critical dialogue such as implication of legal compliance, position control process and recruitment activity monitoring. This talk will highlight Tableau-enabled data integration, quick intuitive data exploration, and data sharing with online HRBI portal.

Clinical Data Management:
Self Service Analytics in the Health System - Demonstration of how a patient encounter model can be published in Tableau and used by business analysts to answer ad-hoc questions.
