Tableau today kicked off its fifth annual customer conference in Europe with Tableau Conference on Tour London. More than 600 data enthusiasts will gather for two days of keynote presentations, hands-on training sessions, and more than 70 presentations from Tableau customers, partners, and leadership.
Tableau’s Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, James Eiloart, and Vice President of Product Management, Francois Ajenstat, will deliver an opening keynote session including a sneak peek at the company’s upcoming product release, Tableau 9.1, and announce its intentions to open a data centre in the EU to support its ongoing efforts to expand globally and help customers do analytics in the cloud.
“We’re thrilled to bring Tableau Conference on Tour to London, marking our fifth annual customer event in Europe,” said Eiloart. “This event brings together analytically minded people from every industry and corner of Europe. We’re especially excited to debut some of the features that will be included in Tableau 9.1 and announce our plans to open a data centre to support our cloud customers in the EU.”
Tableau 9.1 will be available later in Q3 and will include new features for the enterprise to more easily manage deployments, to help people connect to data whether it’s on premises or in the cloud, make drag and drop analytics even easier and a completely redesigned mobile app.
