Tableau Software, the global leader in rapid-fire business intelligence software, today announced strategic partnerships with some of the leading IT companies in Latin America to offer Big Data analytics across all industries. Whether an e-commerce site, financial institution, hospital or university, Tableau is developing new ways to unleash the power of Big Data, regardless of the database and data management systems in use.
In line with its global expansion strategy, Tableau has partnered with industry-leading IT consulting firms in the region that have countless years of experience offering business intelligence software, solutions and services, including:
•Brazil: CSC, PATH, Twice Software and Full Business Partner
•Chile: Solex, Cognus and Intellego
•Costa Rica: ITECSA
•Guatemala: Computing Resources
•Mexico: InfoMedia, DataTeam Consulting and Data Discovery
•Peru: Gora Consulting
“All of our strategic partners have shown great foresight and unwavering commitment by investing in the business relationship and helping people see and understand their data,” said Miguel Nhuch, Vice President for Latin America at Tableau Software.
The exponential growth of data locked in spreadsheets and traditional databases has made analyzing and visualizing that data more complex. Tableau helps people to easily access that data, whether in a relational database, in the Cloud or Hadoop, and deliver quick and easy visual analytics.
This is big news for companies across all verticals in the region that have long struggled with disparate sources of information and legacy systems. Tableau easily and seamlessly makes Big Data accessible and useful throughout the enterprise, delivered via desktop, web and mobile devices.

Latin America Expansion
Back in May, Tableau announced its global expansion in Latin America and introduced Spanish and Portuguese versions of its products. Since then, the company has been hosting educational events throughout the region to introduce new audiences to fast analytics, visualization and business intelligence in their native tongue. Tableau has already hosted events for clients and prospects in Mexico City, Monterrey, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia and Sao Paulo.
The continued growth in this booming market comes at a time when Tableau is experiencing massive growth. The company has had eight years of record sales, achieving 83 percent sales growth in 2011 and up over 100 percent for the first half of 2012.
Tableau also grew its worldwide customer base by 40 percent in 2011 and now has more than 9,000 organizations using its fast analytics products.
