London – February 1, 2011: Tableau Software has tapped Bruno Saint-Cast, the executive who launched salesforce.com in Europe, to bring the data visualisation and business intelligence disruptor to EMEA. Joining a powerhouse executive bench that includes one of the architects of Pixar animation studios and renowned researchers from Stanford University, Saint-Cast will be responsible for bringing rapid-fire business intelligence to EMEA starting with the UK, France and Germany.
Under Saint-Cast’s direction, the new European arm will first launch in the UK with its headquarters based in Richmond, Surrey. Saint-Cast has high ambitions for the UK division including plans to quadruple EMEA revenues between by year-end 2012.

With an MBA from the Rouen Business School and an auspicious start to his career at IBM, he spent the following 20 years successfully starting up and managing French or European operations of several US Hi-tech companies such as Sybase, Brio technology and salesforce.com. Saint-Cast’s international relations experience and solid heritage in software development are key to the new role for Tableau. His reputation and understanding of the user’s needs have also been recognised as essential traits, setting him as the perfect fit for the VP position.
