Resolved Issues

Issue ID Description

Table calculations caused a significant increase in memory consumption and a decrease in workbook performance.

Closing a workbook without saving changes after you refreshed an extract caused the error "Ignoring calculated field '[Number of Records]', field is already defined by data source".

When connected to a published extract, viewing the underlying data of a measure caused the error: "Internet communication error: Send failed since rewinding of the data stream failed()".

Using the COUNTD function in a calculated field caused other values in the extract to show incorrect values.

Opening a workbook that contained a view with more than 270 thousand marks caused memory issues.

Attempting to edit a long custom SQL statement in caused Tableau to stop responding.

When connected to Amazon Redshift, cancelling a long running query such as automatic updates resulted in the "ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block; Error while executing the query" error.

Blank spaces added to a tooltip using the tooltip editor were not being preserved in the view.

Working with a workbook that connects to a large Microsoft Excel file sometimes caused the error: "Your changes could not be saved to '' because of a sharing violation.

Clicking a mark in a view that used actions caused the error: “TableauException: tuple id cannot be resolved”.

When the default Windows display size was changed from "Smaller" to "Medium" or "Larger" you could not select size 12, 22 or 72 font for a text object on a dashboard.

Connecting to a WMS server with an https URL returned the error: "The URL is not valid".
