Why is there a pricing different between Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server?
The initial licensing cost for Tableau Cloud is slightly higher to account for the additional infrastructure we use to host the service. However, many customers see a lower total cost of ownership with Tableau Cloud, because they no longer have to pay for hardware and maintenance expenses.
Do I need to purchase Data Management or Advanced Management for my entire organisation?
No, our add-ons are purchased at a Tableau Server deployment level or a site level for Tableau Cloud.
What if I have fewer than 100 users, can I buy Data Management or Advanced Management?
Yes, you can buy either add-on for a fixed fee. Please contact sales for additional information.
