11:30 - 12:00 - Data Analytics Journey at Singapore Airlines
Casey will share highlights of the data analytics evolution at Singapore Airlines over two generations of data technologies in the cloud, starting from a vendor-specific batch-mode data ingestion pipeline, evolving into an ensemble of vendor and open-source pipelines. The first generation empowers business with data visualization and predictions through machine learning. The second-generation’s retooling effort is now in progress to deploy stream processing data pipelines, the adoption of more advanced AI through GPU-accelerated deep learning frameworks, and constraint optimization technology to deliver additional business insights and values.

Prior to joining Tableau, Leslie worked for VMware where he held the position of Regional Director for South East Asia and Korea, responsible for driving growth in the software-defined data centre solutions business and later in strategic partnerships.
