Thursday Trainings at Three hosted by The Information Lab
Our partner, The Information Lab, are running introductory sessions where you'll learn how to leverage data in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, Tableau Server and Web Edit, and Alteryx Designer. Choose from several sessions:
Tableau for Salesforce (Beginner) – This session will show you an overview of Tableau Desktop’s capabilities, how to connect to Salesforce data, and how to join on additional data sources. We’ll cover everything from connecting to data to easily creating different charts and dashboards, to showing you how easy it is to embed a Tableau dashboard in Salesforce.
Tableau Data Model 2020.2 (Beginners) – Tableau changed how it works with data sources in version Tableau 2020.2. Tableau’s new Data Model introduces Relationships which are a much more flexible and powerful was to join data sets together. Join this session learn how Relationships work, and how they let you join, union and connect multiple tables at multiple layers of detail with ease.
Tableau Working with Dates (Advanced) – Working with dates in Tableau can dive you nuts! In this session we give you a grounding in how Tableau handles dates (eg ‘the difference between discrete vs continuous dates’; ‘what are date parts’?). We then take working with dates one step further by looking at common date calculations like year over year comparisons, and rolling dates.
