About the speakers

Vice President of Strategy & Growth, Tableau Asia Pacific & Japan

Prior to joining Tableau, he held various positions at Salesforce, including Chief of Staff, Asia Pacific and led Salesforce’s Specialized teams for Platform & Emerging Technologies across Asia Pacific – this includes Lightning Platform, Heroku, Einstein Analytics, Quip & CPQ. Robert also directed Salesforce’s regional program for start-ups. He is a highly sought-after public speaker and media contributor and has appeared on Sky News, Bloomberg Radio Hong Kong, Boss Magazine, and The Australian Institute for Company Directors. Robert was also a member of the Victorian Government Innovation Expert Panel.

Robert holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a MBA from the Harvard Business School. He was a member of the MIT Board of Trustees from 1996-2001 and the MIT Alumni Board from 2002-2004, and a recipient of the MIT Bronze Beaver for distinguished alumni service.

Director, Solution Engineering ANZ, Tableau

Stephane Roman is the Director of Solution Engineering for Tableau ANZ and is passionate about everything that relates to data & analytics. With a strong background in data modelling, integration & business intelligence, he has been helping customers in their data transformation journey for 25 years and is committed to make sure that they realise business value out of the solutions they implement. Prior to joining Tableau, he held various positions at Oracle, Siebel and Microstrategy including Technical Account Manager and led teams of Consultants, Cloud Architects & Customer Success Managers. He has delivered many projects for several Enterprise Analytics solutions in various industries and covering a wide range of enterprise function like ERP, CRM and HCM, both in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Principal Solution Engineer, Tableau

Steve Street is a Principal Solution Engineer at Tableau based out of Perth, Western Australia and has been immersed in data technologies and solutions for over 20 years. With a grounding in database technologies and data modelling Steve gravitated to reporting and analytics as a way to help business users support their decisions with information.

Steve has worked in the IT industry throughout his career, largely as a contractor in the UK and now based in sunny Perth in Western Australia. Having worked with many of the leading vendors in the BI space, Steve now works for the #1 Analytics platform Tableau. As a Principal Solution Engineer Steve’s role is to listen to customers and prospects and help them understand how analytics can help support and promote their business, enabling scalable self-service analytics across organisations of all sizes.

Steve also has the role of Technology Evangelist for Tableau, helping promote the benefits, both personal and organisational, of analytics, and how Tableau helps people see and understand data.

Director BI Enablement (APAC), JLL

Margarita is a Business Intelligence Enablement professional with over 10 years experience across market research, financial services and analytics. Her career (so far !) has centred on helping people to get more value out of their data — often through engaging and informative data visualisations. Talk to her about data viz best practice, building out an enterprise data culture, or the nitty gritty of server performance.

Passionate about people, data and the positive social impact the two combined can achieve, she’s a current Board Member of Engineers Without Borders Australia, co-leader of the Sydney Tableau User Group and is registered on Tableau Service Corps.

Data & Analytics Leader

Rebecca Cameron has spent the past decade enabling insight driven organisations. Through the delivery of self-service analytics and data-as-a-service platforms, such as the recent Transport Data Exchange for the Queensland Government, Rebecca has lifted business data maturity for multiple organisations, whilst establishing the foundations for the next tier of maturity - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Rebecca has a breadth of data expertise having worked in the legal, health, transport, banking, insurance, property, financial and asset management sectors.

Lead Solution Engineer, Tableau

Razia is an absolute tech geek who loves data & gadgets. Having worked across different technologies from content management systems and workflows to the world of API's, she is now back into her favourite space of all: data & analytics! Razia has worked across all parts of the business ranging from sales to solution architecture and has worked to grow client portfolios across the Asia Pacific region. In her spare time, Razia enjoys hiking, photography and travelling.

Senior Solution Engineer, Tableau

Prior to joining Tableau, Christophe worked in the banking and finance industry. As a Business analyst he built experience understanding business needs and translating these to analytics solutions to meet stakeholder requirements. As a Solution Engineer, Christophe works with existing and prospective customers, consultants and analysts to help enable their success through Tableau.

Elzina Hodzic is a Lead Solution Engineer at Tableau based out in Sydney, NSW and has been helping people using data to make better business decisions for over 20 years.
Elzina has worked with many of the leading vendors in the BI and CPM space and now as a Tableau Solution Engineer she is passionate about helping more people using data to solve business problems and build analytics solutions that enable delivering long term business results and rewards.

Lead Solution Engineer, Tableau

Marc is a Lead Solution Engineer at Tableau and is a self-proclaimed data geek, with a fascination in connecting to a dataset and getting insights in a matter of minutes. Marc has 20+ years of experience at American Enterprise software vendors both as an Implementation Consultant and a Presales Consultant, and has worked with different types of software such as Collaboration and Content Management, CRM, Project Management and now Visual Analytics.
Outside of Tableau, Marc has a passion for travelling and outdoor activities, and even uses Tableau to analyse the data on running races he participates in.
