About the speakers

Julie Burke, Manager of Supply Chain Operational Excellence at Celanese

Control Tower & Data Management Track Lead

Julie Burke joined Celanese in 2012 and is currently leading the Control Tower track for the E2E Supply Chain project. Control Tower focuses on providing a reporting platform for supply chain users with a focus on providing consistent and validated data.

Before coming to supply chain Julie worked in a variety of different functions; including Procurement Operations, Internal Audit, EM LFT Business Line, and now Supply Chain. Throughout her roles she has maintained a focus on data and analytics and is excited to be a part of the Celanese journey enabling work takeout and data driven insights with Celanese Control Tower dashboard designs.

Tommy Mattix, Acetyls Planning and Strategy Director at Celanese

Acetyls Planning and Strategy Director at Celanese

Tommy joined Celanese in 2008, and has worked in multiple roles across manufacturing, business, and supply chain functions. Currently Tommy leads global business strategy and supply chain planning for the Acetyls business, where new analytics capabilities are advancing insights and decision making to enhance business performance. Ranging from predictive market analytics, supply chain and manufacturing optimization, or even personal fitness and health goals, Tommy believes in the power of data-driven insights to drive the successful execution of strategic objectives.
