Join Tableau at Big Data LDN. Data is everywhere; in every economy, sector and organisation. While data used to be the domain of a select group of technicians, it is now a prominent part of the agenda in many board rooms. Big Data LDN is the largest event in the UK that specifically addresses meaningful application of big data, and creating new insights and value to arm you with the tools to deliver your most effective data-driven strategy.

SPACE, THE FINAL FRONTIER: USING SPATIAL DATA FOR SOCIAL IMPACT

    Speaker: Rob Parker

In this session, Rob will share how Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity uses geographic and people data to target resources and identify partnerships, uncover relationships between health issues, people and place, and reach wider audiences and see ‘the heartbeat’ of an area. Specific skills covered include mapping, storytelling, and creating a culture of data and analytics.
He’ll discuss how Guy’s and St Thomas’ uses data to tackle health challenges affecting people in urban, diverse and deprived areas. He’ll describe how by linking geographic and people data, with records within the organisation, the Charity was better able to target its resources and identify partnerships, boosting its social impact and saving both time and money.

DISCOVER THE "WHY" YOU DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED

    Speaker: Becky O'Connor

Becky discovered the skills of visualising data by striking out a career at Cognos and Watson Analytics at IBM. She took this to the next level by joining Tableau in 2018 and now shows the art of data discovery every day in her work with clients, partners and colleagues through her passion of Tableau features such as mapping, NLP and relationship data.
She is excited to be here at Big Data LDN to show you how you too can get the most out of your data and your time at the event.
