By selecting an individual state or race, you can glean some interesting facts from this viz. For instance, selecting the Hispanic portions of California, Texas, Florida and New York reveals that almost two thirds of the entire Hispanic population lives in those states.


It's a nice chart, but for me it doesn't answer the premise of the question. Perhaps it should have been titled differently. The question 'Does it remain...' implies time dimensionality to me. Again, nice chart, but the queation is heavy and has cognitive dissonance with the visualization.
