Tableau today kicked off its Tableau Conference on Tour event at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The event brings together more than 450 Tableau customers and partners from Australia and New Zealand for two days of keynotes, customer presentations, hands-on training sessions, and more.
“Organizations in Australia and New Zealand are looking for ways to get more out of their data,” said Nigel Mendonca, Tableau Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand. “Many of Tableau’s earliest adopters came from this region, showing there is a tremendous thirst for self-service analytics and a new approach to business intelligence.”
The event will feature two days of teaching and learning, including 40 sessions from Tableau experts and customers. Tableau Chief Marketing Officer Elissa Fink and Senior Director of Product Management Marc Rueter will present the Conference’s first keynote, sharing Tableau’s vision for analytics and previewing the company’s upcoming product update, Tableau 9.0.
