Get ready to put your developer skills to work! We are hosting our second virtual hackathon beginning August 4th—this time featuring the Tableau JavaScript API.

By submitting your JavaScript API project, you’ll be entered as a contestant in a competition for the best hack. The winner will receive a full conference pass to Tableau Conference 2017 in Vegas! And the top three hacks will receive some awesome Tableau gear. Join the Tableau Community to show off your programming skills and share your ideas with the rest of the world.

How do I participate?

Complete these steps before the August 14 deadline.

1. Create a project that uses the Tableau JavaScript API
2. Record your project (2 mins max)
3. Host your working project on YouTube or Vimeo
4. Register and submit your project link using the form below.

How will the winners be selected?

A team of Tableau judges will select finalists based on the project’s potential impact, visual appeal, and design. From there, members of the Tableau Community will select the final winner. We will announce results of the competition on August 24.
