Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA) today announced the winners of its 2013 EMEA Tableau Partner Awards. The awards were presented at Tableau’s 2013 Partner Workshop at its sold-out European Customer Conference in London earlier this month.

Winners of the 2013 EMEA Tableau Partner Awards include:

2013 Partner of the Year, EMEA - The Information Lab: The London-based data visualization firm was named the first Tableau Gold Partner in Europe. The Information Lab’s mission helps empower business users to work with their own data and improve the quality of their own decision making without the need for long consulting engagements.

2013 Partner Excellence Award, EMEA (marketing) - Interworks: Boasting one of the largest and most well known Tableau support teams in the world, InterWorks was named the first Tableau Gold Partner in August 2012. With the added value of being a full-service I.T. solutions provider, InterWorks can tackle any data need with rapid results.

2013 Partner Excellence Award, EMEA (sales) - Inspari: Through passionate employees and proven solutions Inspari A/S creates knowledge and growth for the country’s most exciting companies.

2013 Partner Excellence Award, EMEA (land-and-expand) - Infotopics: A consultancy and reseller partner, Infotopics helps customers with overall concepts. It not only sells software licenses, but also has experienced Tableau and business intelligence consultants.

The 2013 Partner Workshop brought 70 individuals representing 25 countries and 34 companies to the conference. Partners participated in an executive panel with Tableau leaders, learned more about the Tableau product roadmap, shared compelling partner and customer stories and attended technical and sales track workshops.

“I'm thrilled that our team has been presented with this award, they are among some of the finest Tableau consultants in the industry and thoroughly deserve this recognition,” said Tom Brown, founder of The Information Lab. “We have been entirely focused on Tableau software since our foundation and plan to continue this strategy as we grow our consulting team in the UK and beyond. Many thanks to all of our customers and friends who made this award possible.”

“We view our partners as an extension of our team and their participation is integral in making our European Customer Conference, and our business, a success,” said James Eiloart, Vice President of EMEA for Tableau. “The four partners recognized at this year’s Partner Workshop represent those that have a deep understanding of our software and have generated new opportunities as a result of, and for Tableau.”

This year’s event was the third annual European Customer Conference for Tableau. It sold out, with 430 customers and partners from throughout European sharing their passion for data analytics.
Tableau has thousands of customers in Europe. Its products are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.
