Sydney: Letting the Users Speak

We like showing off Tableau, but we like it even more when our users show others what Tableau can do for them. At our user group in Sydney, we got that in spades.

We like showing off Tableau, but we like it even more when our users show others what Tableau can do for them. At our user group in Sydney, we got that in spades.

Our last user group in Australia--but clearly not the least--drew a huge crowd of more than 80 people, one of our highest. Some of the most well-received features were again, expanded mapping options for Australia and the increasingly important mobile BI story.

We had a little something extra special for this group though: Presentations from six Tableau users, each showcasing how their organizations used Tableau.

Two great examples were from Dimitri Blyumin at the National Roads and Motorists' Association and Nathaniel Krisanski from Ray White. Dimitri showed a great dashboard they used to monitor roster effectiveness for mechanics, while Nathaniel displayed Tableau's strengths at analyzing the real estate market which wowed the crowd. So much so, by popular vote, Nathaniel was awarded our prized iPad!

Congratulations! And thanks to all for making our user groups down under a huge success.
