Tableau Workshop: Beginning (Part 1)

This two hour hands-on session will be an introduction to Tableau Desktop Professional. The instructor will be a Tableau staff member who will use AAUDE data for much of the session. Participants will need to bring their own laptop to fully participate. The topics covered include:

- Connecting to data
- Navigating the Tableau interface
- Building and formatting visualizations for analysis
- Building dashboards

Tableau Workshop: Intermediate (Part 2)

This two hour training session will pick up where the earlier session leaves off. The instructor will be a Tableau staff member who will use AAUDE data for much of the session. Participants will need to bring their own laptop to fully participate. The specific topics covered will depend on the pace of the first session, but they may include:

- Building advanced chart types and visualizations
- Adding interactivity to dashboards
- Working with parameters and input controls
- Geographic mapping techniques
