Release Notes for Tableau 10.1.1
Note: Tableau Desktop customers in environments with Product Updates enabled will be prompted to upgrade a few days after a maintenance release is made available. For more information, see the Tableau Knowledge Base.
In some cases, publishing content to Tableau Online or Tableau Public would time out and fail.
In some views with colored marks, and column or row grand totals shown, filtering out all mark values resulted in an error: "No such column [system:visual].[is_mark_total]"
When upgrading Tableau Server in place, if the auto backup fails for any reason, the installer will continue to run, causing content to be erased. To avoid any data loss, take a manual backup before running the installer, placing it outside of the Tableau Server folder structure. Should any error occur, restore the manual backup file.
Appending new data to a published extract using the tabcmd --append option would simply double the existing extract data instead of appending the new data.
