HealthHelp CIO Steve Spar Featured at HIMSS13

Steve Spar, chief information officer for the leading specialty benefits management provider, will speak about one of HealthHelp’s key data tools at the upcoming Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society conference at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

In his presentation, "Democratizing Access to Complex Healthcare Data with Visual Analytics," Spar will share HealthHelp's experience using Tableau Software to provide Health Plans and medical professionals with self-serve access to complex data, which allows the company to enhance care quality while reducing cost. The talk will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5.

The not-for-profit HIMSS provides global leadership for the optimal use of information technology and management systems for the betterment of healthcare. The annual conference runs March 3 through 7 this year, with the intersection of health IT issues, technology, mandates, and delivery of care serving as the focus. President Bill Clinton will deliver a keynote address on Wednesday, March 6.
