Industry Analyst Firm Names Tableau Software as a Leader in Advanced Data Visualization Platform Report

Tableau Software, a global leader in rapid-fire business intelligence software, today announced that Forrester Research Inc., has ranked the company as a leader among Advanced Data Visualization platforms in its report The Forrester Wave™: Advanced Data Visualization (ADV) Platforms, Q3 2012*.

According to the report, “Tableau Software continues to set the standards for ADV. Tableau has been the vanguard of ADV for years.”

Forrester evaluated 14 vendor companies and between four and 32 customers per vendor for the ADV report. The evaluation included 29 criteria grouped into three high-level buckets including current offering, strategy and market presence.
