It's hard to believe that only a few years ago Tableau had only a small presence in Europe. But even as we wrapped up our the last of a great series of European road shows in Munich today, it felt like we're just getting started.

The tour in the past week has taken us from Amsterdam to London and on to a city that’s new on our list, Munich. All three locations were filled with more people than seats, with a great mix of new customers, veterans and partners. They were cozy with up to 200 people attending some events, and even our newest European adventure in Munich saw a packed house.

In what became par for the course now, our sessions ran a bit long because impromptu question and answer sessions broke out and stretched into the evening (we don’t mind of course!). Lots of questions about filled maps and the data server, two of the biggest features coming in Tableau 7.0. The demo stations were also a great hit, with attendees able to get an up-close-and-personal look at the latest features in action.

"It's opened up a whole new world!" one attendee said of Tableau.

"Everything Tableau does is at least good. Most of it is brilliant!" said another.
