OECD Factblog Gallery

Every few weeks we have the pleasure of running across one of Jerome Cukier's visualizations in the Factblog of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). So it was great to see all of those visualizations rolled up into a gallery. My personal favorites:

Every few weeks we have the pleasure of running across one of Jerome Cukier's visualizations in the Factblog of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

So it was great to see all of those visualizations rolled up into a gallery. My personal favorites:

  • A view on oil dependency showing that Hungary, Poland, The Slovak Republic and Finland are almost completely dependent on Russia for oil
  • One on technical innovation on climate change showing wind technology taking a huge lead
  • This one on rates of employment in different countries:
  • Jerome has been working with this data for a long time, and he's quite good at making views that are both informative and visually striking. If you want to learn something about the world take a look.
