Tableau Software Partners with Next Bridge to Bring Visual Analytics to Norway

Publish Date:

Tableau Software, the global leader in rapid-fire business intelligence software, has partnered with Next Bridge AS, an IT-consultancy dedicated exclusively to business intelligence, to deliver Tableau to customers in Norway.

"Data analytics are changing the BI market" said Lars Rinnan, CEO of Next Bridge. "Visual analytics tools are chosen increasingly in addition to or instead of traditional BI platforms. It is the business users who set the conditions for these choices, and they want to explore data quickly and without having to depend on help from the IT side."

"We are proud to now represent Tableau in Norway," he continues. "Tableau is a world leader in the field, named the fastest growing business intelligence company by Gartner in 2011."

Are Skaar, Technology Manager at Next Bridge emphasizes that "Tableau offers the easiest and fastest visual analytics that anyone can use, no programming required. In addition Tableau can both connect directly to data sources and also be engaged in a structured data warehousing environment."

Next Bridge is linking up with partners that support its ambition to become the standard in BI. "After a review of the data analytics tools available today, it is our assessment that Tableau is the very best," said Lars Rinnan. "This is supported by studies done by reputable industry analysts such as Gartner, and all of the awards Tableau has received."

"We believe that Next Bridge’s expertise and experience is a good match for Tableau in the Norwegian market," said Rynhardt van Heerden, Channel Manager for Europe at Tableau.

Tableau is designed for enterprises to rapidly and visually analyze data in any format and of any size. Tableau Desktop lets people create interactive reports, dashboards and visualizations using an easy drag and drop interface. It is very easy to get started. Short implementation time and ease of deployment make it easy to start achieving results.

"Data analytics will provide new insights into your data. If one considers that 80% of the senses of a human being come from sight, it's no wonder that tools that gives meaningful visualization of large amounts of data, appear to be extremely useful," says Lars Rinnan, CEO of Next Bridge.
