Stephen Few on The Evolution of Sensemaking

By Ellie Fields October 20, 2011

Stephen Few's talk on the Evolution of Sensemaking was a hit at the Tableau Customer Conference today.

"Stephen Few says you need to believe in something and he chooses to believe in his brain and developing his sense making skill, says Dan Murray via Twitter.

Brief notes from the keynote. Stephen urged listeners to "boycott stupid graphics."

He pointed out that the human brain can do things that computers still can't do.

He said we all need to learn to reason more visually.
